The Holidays Came Early This Year

Holiday shopping looks a little different

2020 has been a doozy. We're all a little tired and ready for a change. Luckily, the safest way to shop for the holiday season is also a great way to break the dreary routine I know I've fallen into staying at home all the time. I'm talking about shopping early. Black Friday, rushing to the store is a blast. Going to Santa's Village is always a great time for the kids in December. But this year lines are going to get long as we try to stay distanced, and the fun of going to a crowded store might become scary. What's more, shopping early means you get to start looking forward to making good memories with your favorite people. So beat the rush and shop in November, the new best time to start looking for the perfect gifts for your loved ones.

Here at Lucia's we've set up a suite of options to help you shop safely this holiday season. Our three main ways to order are curbside pickup, in-person shopping, and online ordering for delivery. There's a way for everyone to pick up the gifts they need, early, safely, and while having fun.

In-Person Shopping

If you know us, then you know that our favorite part of working at Lucia's is getting to hang out talking at the register or on the sales floor. We love helping you pair earrings with a necklace and decide what would be the best ornament for your hard-to-shop-for coworker. And we know that you need to feel how soft that blanket is to be able to imagine it on your couch. Or you want to try that bracelet on before you buy it. We get it. That's why we've set up a number of safety precautions so that you can have as normal a shopping experience as possible. Here they are:

1. Wear a mask! We've heard Dr. Fauci say it a thousand times: wearing a mask is the best thing you can do to protect yourself and the people around you. If you forget one, we have plenty of fair trade masks on sale in the shop!

2. Sanitize! We're asking everyone to sanitize their hands when they enter and exit the shop. We've also set up sanitizing stations at display tables throughout the store so that you can disinfect before touching the products.

3. Make an appointment! We're offering private shopping hours this holiday season. Grab a friend or family member and come down to the store before opening. It's a fun and free way to have a special holiday outing.

4. Reduced Capacity! We're only having 6 shoppers in the store at a time. So if you show up, and the door is locked, just wait your turn.

Curbside Pickup

We're here for you, even when we have to stay far apart. The simplest option for safe, quick, and personal shopping is curbside pickup. Order online, and select curbside instead of delivery. Then, select the time you want to come pick up your order. We'll be waiting with smiling faces underneath our masks. Just be sure to bring your id and confirmation number for your order. We can't wait to see you again.

Online Ordering

You've already found our newly updated website! So the next step is to start checking out your new favorite gifts for the holidays! This year we've made shopping as easy as possible with pre-prepared gift sets. We also have our full collection of fair trade ornaments on the online store. You thought that was all? No way! We also have nativities, fun winter wear, candles, and more all up in the shop. And we've collected all of our Christmas/ Winter Holiday items all in one place.

We have same day shipping for all of our orders placed Mon-Fri, free shipping on orders over $75, and we ship throughout the country. You can be certain that your order will get to you or to your loved one packaged perfectly. This year we are also offering gift wrapping and the option to write a short note to the recipient of your gift! We know that many of you can't be with your loved ones this year, so we want to do anything we can to try and make the holidays feel normal and to take some pressure off of you.

Be sure to order by December 4 to ensure that your package arrives by Christmas.

We didn't forget about November

Here at Lucia's we're big believers that Christmas comes after Thanksgiving. We love everything that November has to offer. It starts off with one of our favorite holidays, Day of the Dead. Then we get to celebrate the end of fall with the last trips to the pumpkin patch and the last batches of fresh apple cider. But, is mulled wine anyone else's favorite fall drink? Then, we get to feast at Thanksgiving dinner with family. All this is to say, you can follow along with our social media to see the best products to decorate your home for fall, share some Thanksgiving love with gifted bread baskets or mugs for those delicious fall drinks, and winter wear to keep you cozy and warm on cool November nights. We could never forget about November. winter wear peru
