Shipping and Returns

Handling

Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. 

Shipping

Shipping is free on orders over $75 after discounts.

We ship from Lexington, Kentucky 40502. We use USPS Ground shipping, which usually takes between 2 and 8 days for delivery. You will receive a tracking number when your package is ready for shipping, allowing you to track its progress. 
Priority Mail is an option for expedited shipping at a higher cost. Priority Mail is not guaranteed, but it should take 1-3 business days. 

Standard Shipping is $4.95. For heavy or large items, shipping is $7.95. 

We currently only ship within the USA.

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

Returns

We ask that all returns be made within 30 days. During this time, you may return your goods for a refund, exchange, or store credit. Refunds will be made for the cost of the product only and will not include shipping fees. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The customer pays return shipping costs. If it's more than 30 days, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund, credit, or exchange. 

Please note that due to the handmade nature of fair trade items, slight variations are to be expected and add to the beauty and authenticity of our items. Please contact us in advance of shipping the item if you have a preference about the color or design.  

Damaged items should be reported within 7 days of delivery. Lucia's will always replace, refund, or credit your account for damaged or missing items. You must photograph damaged items and keep the packaging for 48 hours after reporting damage, so that we can enter a claim with USPS.

Please include the paperwork you received with your order or a printout of your email confirmation to enable us to process your return. 
If you are shipping an item over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. 

PLEASE NOTE ALL OF OUR ITEMS ARE HANDMADE. Our artisans produce many pieces and are very creative; therefore, they may change paint colors and patterns. Many items are from vintage patterns and may vary from the pictures on the website. If you prefer a certain color or pattern, whether in the pottery or purses and textiles, please call, email (customerservice@luciasimports.com), or leave a comment in the "comment box."
